The Fifth Anniversary
This is the Fifth Anniversary of the arrest of SUN Dawu known as The Great Noon. He and his entire family were arrested. This action made his grandchildren orphans according to Chinese law. At midnight, 300 police in tactical gear armed with submachine guns and accompanied by attack dogs invaded the private property of Dawu City. They seized all property which was later sold at a pittance. SUN Dawu, his two brothers and his son still remain in prison.

Sun had reason to remember the anniversary of that date for another reason. It was the seventeenth anniversary of the verdict of his earlier trial. It is without doubt that he was arrested on November 11, 2020 because it is the date of that anniversary. The government was signaling to him that he hadn't reformed with respect to "picking quarrels and provoking trouble". In other words, he didn't mind his p's and q's. It was a clear message to Sun. He had been arrested and Dawu Group had been taken over in 2020 as it had been in 2003.
