Big Dipper is drawn as the foreleg of a bull.
The Hippopotamus Goddess
(Taweret/Hedjet): She stands upright, representing the northern celestial pole.
The Mooring Post and
Cords: She holds onto a heavy rope or
chain that is tied directly to the bull's leg.
Because Pherkad and Kochab
(Ursa Minor) circle tightly around the pole, the Egyptians viewed them as the
"Mooring Post" or the divine anchors guiding the swinging rope.

By placing Serket (Scorpius)
on the eastern track and Taweret holding the Mooring cords (Pherkad/Ursa Minor)
on the northern track, the tomb paintings literally froze this alignment in
time. The paintings show the two groups facing each other at right angles. As
Serket climbs the eastern wall to open the gates of dawn, the Hippopotamus
goddess pivots the celestial cord in the North, ensuring that the cosmos
remains balanced (Ma'at) during the transition from night to day.

stars of the constellation Scorpius (Beta Scorpii (Pi Scorpio / Graffias or
Acrab), Delta Scorpii (Dschubba), Rho Scorpii (Iclarkrau) and Pi Scorpii (Fang)
which ascended between 93.5 and 96.6 degrees azimuth alongside the breaking
dawn light.
The Chinese star known as
Fang Xiu is actually an ancient Chinese constellation and lunar mansion. It is
known literally as the "Room" governing the spring season. In western
astronomy, its primary physical anchor is the binary system Pi Scorpii.
In a brilliant cosmic
synchronization, the circumpolar Seba group of the Little Dipper bowl--led by
Pherkad and Kochab--executed a simultaneous vertical transit underneath the
northern celestial pole, moving in tandem with the head of the Scorpion, these
northern "Guardians of the Pole" ascended vertically the exact same
velocity and angle. This parallel motion allowed temple priests to utilize the
northern Pherkad group as a precise, co-transiting mechanism to verify the true
positioning of the rising Scorpius cluster in the East.
The Five-Star Northern Cross

Simultaneously, this eastern
solar and stellar ingress triggered a flawless, inverse horizon alignment
across the western sky (about 270 -280 degree azimuth). This is where the giant
five-star Northern Cross of Cygnus (Deneb, Sadr, Gienah, Delta Cygni, and
Albireo) was sinking into the underworld. This opposing horizon alignment is
cited as the "Backbone of the Milky Way"; wherein, the vertical and

circumpolar constellation Cassiopeia, which rotated squarely onto the true North
